Request for Quotations on Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat

The National Oceanic Resource Management Authority (NORMA) of the Federated States of Micronesia has received financing from the World Bank and intends to apply part of its proceeds towards the procurement of one Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB). FSM NORMA intends to prequalify vendors for supplying of the RHIB with fully installed outboard engines and trailer with additional marine safety equipment – completely “turn-key ready” upon delivery. FSM NORMA is now seeking offers from suitably qualified and experienced vendors/suppliers to supply the RHIB for use by FSM NORMA at its main office in Kolonia, Pohnpei, FSM. It is expected that the vendor shall provide a quotation or proposal that may involve the following:

a) Category B (Offshore) RHIB with additional add-ons and safety gear/equipment
b) 2 units 80HP outboard motor engines fully installed 
c) Compatible Trailer

Bidding will be conducted through the Shopping procedures specified in the World Bank Guidelines for Procurement of Goods in Fragile and Small States in the Pacific, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. Quotations in English in response to ITQs must be delivered to the address below at or before 5:00 p.m. January 25, 2021 (Pohnpei Local Time) Late quotations may be rejected. Quotations may be submitted by email, courier, or by hand to the address below:
